Personnel from Fish and Game's McCall and Nampa Hatcheries will be releasing more than 12,000 catchable-sized rainbow trout at the following locations during September:

  • Boise River — above Glenwood Bridge, Sept. 4 and 18, 1,080 trout
  • Boise River — below Glenwood Bridge, Sept. 4 and 18, 1,080 trout
  • Horsethief Reservoir, Sept. 18, 3,000 trout
  • Indian Creek (Caldwell), Sept. 18, 200 trout
  • Indian Creek (Kuna), Sept. 18, 300 trout
  • Lowman (Ten Mile) Ponds, Sept. 11, 600 trout
  • Marsing Pond, Sept. 4, 450 trout
  • McDevitt Pond (Boise), Sept. 25, 900 trout
  • Riverside Pond (Boise), Sept. 25, 720 trout
  • Settler’s Park Pond (Meridian), Sept. 25, 250 trout
  • Wilson Springs (Nampa), Sept. 4 and 18, 250 trout
  • Wilson Springs Ponds (Nampa), Sept. 4 and 18, 400 trout

The number of trout actually released may be altered by weather, water conditions, equipment problems or schedule changes. If delays occur, trout will be stocked when conditions become favorable.
