Here are some answers to frequently asked questions about advertising in the Kuna Melba News.
Q: What is your circulation?
A: Our total weekly paid circulation is approximately 2,200 copies. That includes subscribers (2,000 copies) plus newsstand sales (about 200 copies per week). Our distribution area is primarily the Kuna School District (Kuna, Nampa, Meridian, Boise) and Melba.
Q: How often do you publish?
A: We publish weekly, every Wednesday, 52 weeks per year.
Q:How much does it cost to place an ad?
A: The Kuna Melba News has advertising options to fit ANY marketing budget, from $5 to $500 a week. Consult our Media Kit (download a copy from the website) for pricing information, or call Office Manager Karri Keller at 922-3008.
Q: Do I get a discount for running an ad more than one time?
A: Yes. With display advertising, you qualify for our âfrequency rateâ when you run an ad at least four times in a row with no changes. There is no frequency rate for classified advertising. Call us for details.
Q: How much does it cost to run an insert?
A: Inserts should be furnished to the Kuna Melba News no larger than 8.5Ã11â³ in size. Cost is $55 per 1,000 (single sheet). $60/1,000 (up to 4 tabloid pages) â Each additional 4 tabloid pages add $10/1,000.
Q: What is the cost to run a legal notice?
A: Rates for legal notices are set by the state legislature and are the same for every legal newspaper. The Kuna Melba News is the legal newspaper for the City of Kuna, the Kuna Library District, the Kuna Cemetery District and the Kuna School District. Call us at 922-3008 for details on pricing.
Q: Can you design an ad for me?
A: Absolutely! Graphic design services are offered absolutely free of charge!
Q: What is the deadline to submit an ad?
A: For display advertising, space must be reserved by 5 p.m. the Friday before the issue date. Materials deadline is 5 p.m. Friday. Classifieds deadline is noon Tuesday for that weekâs issue. Inserts must be delivered to the Kuna Melba News office fully 1 week before insertion date, or can be delivered directly to the printing plant as late as the day before publication.
