KUNA 10, CENTENNIAL 0, 5 INNINGS: Rylee Newman allowed four hits in five innings to earn the shutout win in the cirlce for Kuna in a 5A SIC victory.

Newman and Ivy Hommel each had two RBIs for Kuna.

MELBA 11, GLENNS FERRY 1, 5 INNINGS: Andrina Webster and Hailey Cowger each drove in three runs as Melba topped Glenns Ferry in non-conference play.

Cindy Read held the Pilots to two hits in five innings in the victory.

GLENNS FERRY 9, MELBA 4: Eli Bangerter had two hits and Cameron Goetz drove in a pair of runs as Melba fell in non-conference play.

May 6

MELBA 17, MARSING 6, 6 INNINGS: Cameron Goetz went a perfect 3 for 3 at the plate, including a double and home run, driving in five runs in the process as the Mustangs punched their ticket to the 2A State Tournament with a 2A District III Tournament win Saturday.

Goetz also picked up the win on the mound, going four-and-two-thirds innings with five strikeouts, while Tim Reinertson, Tristen Stimpson and Dillon Bodily all added a pair of hits for Melba.

Melba plays New Plymouth at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the 2A District III Championship game.

Joaquin Oliveros recorded three hits for the Huskies, who host Cole Valley Christian at 5 p.m. Monday in an elimination game.
