After an incredible all-star season and an exciting weekend at the state tournament, Kuna’s 13-15U all-star baseball team is headed to regionals.

The team, made up of 13 players, went undefeated in the Idaho State 13-15U Babe Ruth Tournament this past weekend, earning the right to represent Idaho in the Pacific Northwest 2017 Regional Tournament in Kelso, Washington, July 24-29.

Kuna finished group play undefeated, claiming the No. 1 seed and dominating the tournament with wins against Meridian, 19-2, CO-County, 17-7, and Elmore County, 18-4. Facing the No. 2 seed, CO-County, in the championship game on Saturday, July 15, Kuna ended up on top — winning 9-4 to claim the Idaho State 13-15U Babe Ruth title.

“I have been playing baseball since I was like 4-years old," said all-star player, Josh Harwood. "Winning state is, by far, the best moment of my baseball career! I have played with some of these boys for years … they are like brothers to me, and we all worked really hard for this.”

The team is currently seeking sponsorships to help offset travel costs associated with this once in a lifetime opportunity! Please visit their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/donate/340487276385332/ to donate.
