Mayor’s Book Club was held Thursday, May 11. This month’s sponsor was Enrique and Ana Contreras, owners of Enrique’s Mexican Restaurant. Mayor Joe Stear, Ana and her family lead a discussion of the book “The Forbidden Library” by Django Wexler. The Kuna library is grateful to all of our Mayor’s Book Club sponsors. Library Closure: The library will be closed on May 29 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. We will reopen May 30 at 10 a.m.

Lego Friday: Come imagine, build, create and explore at the monthly program, Lego Friday. It is scheduled for 3:30 — 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 19. This is a parent and child class intended for ages 3-8. No need to bring your own Lego sets, Legos are provided. Space is limited.

Our Summer Reading Program is almost here! Sign-ups for Summer Reading will begin May 30. When children, ages 0-18, sign up between May 30 and June 2 they will receive a free book and their name will be entered into a drawing for two free Roaring Springs tickets. Call or come by the library for more information.
